The Lava Lamps

I became a little obsessed with Lava Lamps. It was was a very intense affair. I ended up spending time with these incredible inventions for nearly every evening this week. I found out how they were made, what we needed to do to maintain their health and welfare. I learned the physics behind their being and found respite in their flowing.

On September 8, 2006, Scott and I moved into our new home in Phoenix, AZ. It's hard to say if this is the beginning of a new era, or the end of a daunting battle of wits and wills in order to sell two homes and blend our resources, anxieties, laughter, challenges, and the most sincere love into one single home.

I should also mention we share the home with five cats and my six year old son, Max.

Packing

I think we should vote to consider moving as one of the very most stressful things that can someone might endure in their entire lifetime. Looks exhausting, huh?

Meet the Krazy Kats

There was a lot of prep work to be done. Primarily we determined to bring 2 of the cats from Scott's house to Heather's house, just prior to packing. This made for an interesting few days!
